Hello everyone, I’m Duy Magi – an Multiverse Astrology Practitioner. Today, let’s talk about Planetary Geometry in Astrology.
In the previous article, we learned how to decode Aspects in Astrology.
We also learned how to interpret Planetary Geometries containing all Good Aspects or all Bad Aspects.
But sometimes, you’ll come across a Planetary Geometry made up of both Good and Bad Aspects.
So today, we’re gonna learn a tool to decode them super effectively called the Law of Dominance in Astrology.

Aspect Categories
First off, when interpreting an Aspect, you gotta figure out if it’s a good or a bad one.
Different astrology schools have their own ways of determining this.
But in Multiverse Astrology, we’ve got four types of Aspect:
- Good Aspects: including Conjunction, Trine & Parallel.
- Bad Aspects: including Square & Opposition.
- Dual Aspects: including Quincunx, Septile, Biseptile, Triseptile, Contra Parallel & Contra Latitude. Specifically, a Dual Aspect is good if it doesn’t involve any bad planets like Saturn. On the flip side, it turns bad if at least one bad planet is involved.
- Unimportant Aspects: including Semi-sextile and Sextile.
So, remember this when decoding an Aspect in Multiverse Astrology.
Now, let’s get into the main content today, which is:
The Law of Dominance for Planetary Geometry
Specifically, it goes like this:
In a Planetary Geometry, if the number of Good Aspects is greater than or equal to the number of Bad Aspects, then in most cases, it’s gonna be considered a Good Pattern.
To decode it, you combine the keywords of the planets in a positive direction and you can ignore the Bad Aspects.
On the other hand, in a Planetary Geometry, if the number of Bad Aspects is greater than the number of Good Aspects, then in most cases, it’s gonna be considered a Bad Pattern.
To decode it, you combine the keywords of the planets in a negative direction and you can ignore the Good Aspects.
Example of the Law of Dominance for Planetary Geometry
For example, legendary footballer Diego Maradona was born with a Fortress Planetary Geometry made up of:
Geometry: Mars + Neptune + Pluto + Pallas
Specifically, the Planetary Geometry is made up of:
- 1 Good Trine Aspect.
- 2 Dual Quincunx Aspects. However, because there are no bad planets involved, these two Dual Aspects are considered Good Aspects.
- 2 Bad Square Aspects.
- 1 Unimportant Sextile Aspect.
So, we have 3 Good Aspects and 2 Bad Aspects.
And because the number of Good Aspects dominates, the Fortress Planetary Geometry above will be considered a Good Planetary Geometry.
To decode its meaning, we’ll combine the keywords of the 4 planets in a positive direction:
Diego Maradona has competitive ability (Mars + Pluto) and strategic thinking (Pallas), while also being able to stay calm (Neptune) when taking action (Mars).
